Chick Charly bought new tools at his favorite yard sale in order to build a new mini-coop for the young chicks and their pets. First the foundation, then the floor, then the frame, and finally the roof were all constructed with Charly's new tools and help from other chicks and the neighbors. They came to know all the tools and how to use them. Charly also made bunk beds and installed a pot-belly stove for the mini-coop, while others made curtains and quilts for the beds. When the mini-coop was completed, they celebrated with a trading party and a compost chow down. All the neighbors came and brought their tools to trade.
