A very short story of how horrible the world around us is and the only one who can change it is you. "The Day They Came." A story of an invading alien nation who chose the wrong place to begin their invasion. "Solace," A very short poetic story describing the inner working of a mans mind going from depression to realizing happiness. "The Figurines," a story of a little girl playing by an alley and being stalked by a drifter who wants her gold and silver toys only this little girl has a secret. "That Bird," a poem about one of my favorite poets of all time. "Tomorrow," The creation of genetically altered human super soldiers for a devious purpose but all goes wrong. "The Whisperer," A quiet and gentle man finally snaps after having a horrible day and is guided to do terrible things by a tiny voice in his head.
