America's resistance to these foes is what guarantees our human rights, safety and freedom. It would be ideal if no enemies existed and the earth was actually a peaceful place to live, but that is not reality at this point in history. The reality is such that America must continue to stand guard if future generations wish to reap the benefits of what the United States of America has to offer them because history has proven that a country can have human rights and freedom stripped away without a military made up of millions of individual countrymen and women who are willing to sacrifice life, limb and mind in order to uphold the security that protects the freedoms that America was founded on.
