Jennara, however, kept quiet, lived by the rules and spent her life trying to stay out of trouble. Then the day came when The Council would take her brother one final time for a crime that could change their world altogether. When The Council is exposed for what they really are, Jennara is forced to find a way to save her brother and her world. All of these characters and their lives are woven together because of one man and one incident. The Realm is a story of bravery, of strong women, of unlikely heroes and above all, love.
