Reseña del libro "The Making of a Legend: Neek's Rise to Fame"

Domineek Kane Williamson (Neek) the most sought after college basketball player had to make the tough decision to leave University of Detroit Mercy to enter the upcoming draft. This was a decision Neek felt he had to make for his family's sake to get them out of the tough crime ridden Detroit neighborhood. Neek's difficult decision was going against his promise to his now deceased dad to finish college before joining the NBA. Many factors contributed to Neek's decision to leave school early besides saving his family. The most pressing was to hold on to the love of his life, Monica Angelina Johnson. Monica was sick of living in the hood and wanted a life of fame and fortune. On top of Neek's primary reasons for turning pro, his former friend and now enemy, Jefferson Peters (Ghost) was hot on getting Monica away from Neek. Ghost was further upset with Neek because Neek's now best friend, Donnell Wright (Nell) who used to be Ghost's best friend won't have anything to do with Ghost any longer. Neek sought the help of his coach, Robert Rodgers and his mentor, Pastor Nathanial McGee (Pastor Nate) to assist him in finding the best sports agent to smooth out his plan of becoming a NBA player. Will Neek overcome all the obstacles he face to make it to the NBA or will the pitfalls in his life stop him from becoming the next NBA legend?
