Remember the Alamo? It was a fight for survival for the new Republic, now, for Texas and the country as a whole. The next election, the 2020 Presidential battle, may very well favor the democrat candidates, threatening every tradition and value long-held dear. What makes Texas and Texans different than the rest of America? Everything! Texas is the bastion of American values and traditions. They stand fast to the southern principles of family, community, hard work, limited government, free expression, reverence for God, Life at conception, individualism, and self defense. These are Texan values, Southern values, and traditional American values. And they are threatened. Can the next election change Texas (and the country)?In fact, all of our constitutional rights and freedoms are greatly at risk of being eliminated. Is that even possible? Yes! Look, elections have consequences, and those in power push for legislation that favors their own interests. Rather than serving the people for whom they are elected, too many of these politicians serve their own desires for greed and power. Just look at those currently in office. How well have they served "the people" over this last term? Are you better off than you were before, or was there more malice and discontent spread at your tax-paying expense? And with each election, more regulations or restrictions on our liberties are enacted.Consider gun rights for example. Although the Constitution guarantees every citizen the Right bear arms (for personal protection and against the tyranny of government), yet certain politicians are pushing for more restrictions, even to the point of knocking down your doors and taking your firearms away. Every right, and every freedom, is being constricted by certain elected officials that are voted into office. Do you want that? Do we as a free people know and support the politicians we are voting for? This book is a simple to read look at some of the topics effecting our rights and freedoms, by the people elected into office. The question is, "Did you vote?" Your vote is your voice. It is the easiest and most important action a citizen can take to effectively change the leadership, who in turn, make or break the laws governing our daily lives. Think about it.
