When we have tasted a sumptuous meal, one of our responses is to try to find the recipe to make the meal for ourselves. The recipe gives instructions and provides the required ingredients for preparing the dish. If we do not have all the ingredients or fail to follow the instructions, it will negatively impact the outcome. Another thing is that to get a sumptuous meal, we must be willing to invest in the ingredients, some of which can be expensive. It will cost us. This book, "Recipe for Success - The Sure Way!" examines success from a biblical perspective. It provides some ingredients necessary to live a godly and fulfilling life. The Cambridge Dictionary defines success as "the achieving of desired results, or someone or something that achieves positive results." While success means different things to different people, God desires for us to enjoy it. We need to understand His view on what success entails. Although it is inclusive of our achievements, at the core of success based on God's perspective is submission to His Will. The world's view of success is different from the Word's view of success. Therefore, to truly articulate the definition of success, we need to go to the Word and not the world. While the world focuses only on wealth, fame, and prestige, the Word defines success as having a relationship with God, walking in obedience to His expectation, and fulfilling His Will for our lives. Emeke Odili, in his book, 'Keys to the Kingdom Success: The Biblical Secrets For Unparalleled Success in Life: Here and In Eternity, ' asserts, "Success in God's Kingdom is not about earthly material achievements. Unlike the world's notion of success, amassing earthly wealth is never the biblical yardstick for measuring success in the kingdom of God. Rather, it is ultimately how well we fulfil God's plans and purposes for our lives."[1] This book provides a sure path to success. Once this recipe is followed, we will see tremendous results and reap the life-changing benefits. This book consists of 21 chapters geared at providing the readers with essential guidelines to aid them in living a successful life that is in sync with the Word of God.
