Together, they encounter ghosts of royalty, pirates, children, a witch, gold miners, a spooky chess game, some at a boarded-up insane asylum, and others. Also, they meet some friendly and mythical whirlwind spirits with whom they work to send ghosts held in prison to sleep. These ghost rescues take place in old graveyards, abandoned buildings, battlefields, an army fort, a prison for ghosts, and even a rescue at the bottom of the sea!When the Johnson family discover who effectively placed the darkness in their hearts by killing them, how will they handle it, and what are the consequences? Will a romance spring up for Thomas and Selena, the new recruit? What's next for them?
