On returning to London a massive bombing in the city proves the uncertainty of life to Ana. Forgiveness seems possible once Ana realizes the threat of loosing him forever. Forgiveness may bring them back to each others arms. The book follows David's travels and exploits and their affair through four continents and many violent conflicts and demonstrates how their relationship opens him to love again.
