I'm Mick Schultz. I never set out to be a children's pastor, ministry leader, or an author. If you had told me I would get to equip thousands of parents and their children, share ministry tips with children's ministers around the world, and help mentor future leaders, I'd never have believed you. Thankfully I was just crazy enough to leave the corporate world and say yes to Jesus's plan at the age of thirty-five, and now almost twenty years later, Jesus is still opening amazing doors of opportunity, and those doors have caused me to become a speaker, teacher, consultant, and author and have given me tons of experience in the local church as well as overseas. I love equipping children to be the church of today, training others on how to be effective ministers, and working with parents and helping them fulfill their roles as spiritual providers for their children. I serve in a local church. I'm the children's pastor of New Covenant Bible Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I also currently serve as a team member on the It Works Conference planning group. My greatest blessing in life is getting to be Karen's husband; Brett, Craig, Eric, and Amanda's dad; and Grandpa to Joshua, Buchanan, Marie, and Harrison!
