Do you remember the unexpected bump in the road, the curve or the new path that suddenly materialized and lured you to search in a new direction? Some were life altering. Changes that forced us to begin anew, building a foundation established on the events we experienced as we traversed our life path; forged by our perception of those events. When the accepted wisdom you have long embraced crumbles beneath your feet, there you are, stranded on an island of your own creation, scrambling about, hoping you can build a firm new base to stand upon. Sounds simple, huh? No matter who you are, what you do or what you believe, the time will come when your life will change on a dime. Instantaneously, unexpectedly, even shockingly, your well planned path veers out of your control and your life is forever changed. From that vantage point we enter a new paradigm, a new manner of looking through our own lens of perception at life as we see it now; and then, life as we believe it should be. From the death of a loved one, a life changing accident, war, a job loss with a century old company that suddenly closes, a beloved partner who chooses to leave or a host of other reasons, your life will have changed forever. A new life plan is required; a new foundation must be built using all the new information and ideas you must now use to formulate "the right next best step" to take. It takes a miracle to change your mind; and changing your mind is the beginning of a new dream, a new foundation and a new life.Slowly, she took the blinders off, and then carefully removed the rose colored glasses. She blinked her eyes rapidly; the light was blinding!She had started with a dream and lived a nightmare; she was creating a new one! It would happen the moment she agreed to dream a new dream!She heard a sight rustling and the whispered words, ever so gently blowing in the wind, "Remember you are simply moving to a lower vibration on the physical plane. This is your experience; remember to dream the good dream. We are only separated if you believe it to be so. Call on us and we will be there to counsel and guide you. "And so it came to pass... that the dream was showing severe signs of wear and tear as it drifted about her mind, tattered and torn from years of holding on.The weary hand finally released the last vestige of the tenuous hold that had once been so mighty. Like a feather it drifted into the wind and then, caught by a sudden breeze, it lifted, disappearing into the distant horizon.Expecting the gut wrenching pain she had endured with every failure, she was stunned to feel the lightheartedness that engulfed her.And then came the dawning realization that...Holding on had caused the pain!
