This book is designed to help students who are studying Chinese as their 2nd language. It is especially designed for the students who are learning Chinese in Chinese immersion setting. The book is illustrated by Ms. Shuhua Shi, the contemporary Chinese artist. It is visually appealing and culturally appropriate for the American language learners. In addition, the author has over six-years' extensive experience of teaching American students to learn Chinese, designing Chinese curricular materials, and evaluating wide varieties of Chinese language immersion materials on the market, as well as having conducted her research on a K-5 Chinese Language immersion program evaluation. By triangulating all these aspects, the author designed the series of Learn Chinese the Easy Way with a purpose to make the learning Chinese easier and more effective for American students.
