Last year I put together a simple Bible Study of Christ's life - to bridge the time from CHRISTmas to Easter - scriptures representing some of the highlights of His life. This book takes most of those scriptures and adds great art, making it a Biblical picture book for all ages. It could still be used as a Bible study or as an art study. The paintings here span many centuries and are arranged a little differently than most of the others in the Exploring Great Art series. As you look through the pages you may notice many similarities and many differences between them - see the colors, the textures, patterns, and more. But most of all, enjoy! Note to parents: All of the paintings selected for the books in this series are child-friendly, but we aren't necessarily recommending all of the other paintings by these same artists! If you and your children want to go exploring more art after this - please exercise caution.
