About the Author The action behind "I Am a Process" started at age ten. A 5th grade teacher by the name, Donna Felps, took the time out and helped a young girl become an avid reader. From that moment on, the young girl desired to bring the emotions to people that only books could. The author of "I Am a Process" comes from a small town in Louisiana. She spent many days writing her feelings on paper. One day she found a real love for poetry. It opened a new way for her to communicate. "I am a Process" is the authors journey to self-awareness and self-love through the many challenges life has. With the simple term "I Am", she prevailed. Many people and things will not make every chapter in your book of life. These nineteen poems are meant to relate to the reader.
