Following the Cloud is the true story of a woman whose life was full of amazing and unbelievable interactions with the supernatural world. Reading this book will take you back to life in a small, southern Ohio village in the 1950's, and then on to growing up through the turbulent 60's, with stories of major and minor healings, rescues performed by angels, and help given by the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is the story of a registered nurse (RN) who had to rely on the still, small voice she heard to save the life of a mother and her baby, and of many other episodes of supernatural help given to her so that she could care for others. She didn't walk on water, but she did see the winds and the waves, and even tornados, obey the voice of God. Whether or not you believe in supernatural grace and guidance, you will enjoy the kindness and dedication in these fascinating stories. Rebecca Joy was born in Southern Ohio in 1953. Her first item published was a poem written in high school and published in the school newspaper. After spending a year at Marion College in Marion, Indiana, she graduated from The Christ Hospital School of Nursing in 1975, and worked in numerous hospitals and in-patient home care. In 2008 she left patient care to work for insurance companies using her medical expertise to interpret client records. In 2019, she retired from nursing and now lives in Strafford, Missouri. Her family and friends consider her to be a champion pie baker.
