Desolate Vineyards: A Discipleship Manual for Understanding and Responding to the Muslim Worldview (en Inglés)
Reseña del libro "Desolate Vineyards: A Discipleship Manual for Understanding and Responding to the Muslim Worldview (en Inglés)"
If rainfall or irrigation methods are insufficient for a vineyard, rows of grapevines will shrivel and bear no fruit. In the same way, people who refuse to abandon themselves to Christ become empty and desolate vineyards. Jesus said, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned" (John 15: 5, 6 - NKJV). Thus, the center of Christ's message is that of Him cultivating a relationship with us. This relationship is instigated by Him, and is a relationship that bears fruit, even as a branch abiding in a vine bears fruit. It is for this life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ that Christians contend (Jude 1:3). This study encompasses forty-four discipleship points that systematically respond to objections to Christ. These arguments are namely arguments against the validity of the Scriptures, against the deity of Christ, against the Trinity, against the death of Christ, and against the Sonship of Christ. Through knowledge, believers can see the errors of objections to faith in Christ. Through wisdom, believers can further abandon themselves to their relationship with Jesus as they abide in the vineyards of grace.
