Hal C Clark's poems are lyrical, narrative, and deeply personal, growing out of a sense of empathy and compassion. "War and Other Conflicts" explores adversarial encounters, from actual wars to personal strife, between nations, groups, or individuals, and how we are affected by those encounters. The poems in "Just for Fun" are playful, humorous, whimsical, and - fun. Some of them rhyme, some use different forms, or use other changes to express the mood.
