Reseña del libro "Captured by a Violet Mist (en Inglés)"
In her grand mansion, the wealthy heiress Tarini receives a desperate phone call which is abruptly cut off while she is getting ready for a grand party for her eighteenth birthday. She is rattled because the scared voice on the phone had been a girl's voice. As the call had come on her old landline, she doesn't know where the call had come from. Then she has to hurry to be present as the guests had started coming. This also mars her excitement regarding the forthcoming arrival of her childhood friend, who is returning from London since Tarini's father has committed to giving her share also when she turns eighteen in another fortnight. One of her childhood boyfriends is besotted with her. She is confused but sparks of romance do get ignited. Suspense remains on the amount of inheritance Tarini would get at the party. Finally, the day arrives when her friend is due to land from London. At the airport, Tarini is shocked to see her wearing a violet dress, whereas five years earlier when she left for London she had vowed never to wear a violet dress because........? The plot takes a nasty turn when Tarini's father is kidnapped for ransom. The mystery deepens when they find that they have also lost their house and all their wealth. Who could be behind all this and why? All this is aptly captured by a violet mist.
